Head of Sales, FSI

High-energy, driven Head of Sales for Financial Services, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for building and executing our sales strategy for banks, funds, and insurers. You will be held accountable for generating revenue growth, with the plan of building out a sales team and establishing growth goals. Ideal candidates have a solid B2B sales background and are able to build and execute a sales strategy that gains marketshare and builds high levels of customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a GTM strategy for large financial institutions

  • Big picture thinker, comfortable with SVP / C-level buyers

  • Lead selling effort both internally and externally, from start to finish

  • Implement operational KPIs and sales infrastructure to track, analyze, and report metrics, including pipeline growth, revenue projections, and quota attainment

  • Own sales pipeline and methodologies, including lead gen, qualification, proposal/presentation, closing, and contract/negotiations

Required Skills

  • Strong sales management experience in financial services & data sales

  • 5+ years of individual contributor B2B sales experience, with track record of consistently achieving quota and deep knowledge of sales cycles as an individual contributor

  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CxO level

  • Prior sales experience in a fast-paced environment (ideally, startup)

  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles across CxO suite, Sales & Marketing, and Compliance.

  • Demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management

  • MBA a bonus
